Sightglass Coffee

Sightglass Coffee was founded by brothers Jerad and Justin Morrison in 2009, starting from a rickety service cart before opening a flagship cafe and roastery in San Francisco's SoMa district. The company takes its name from the ‘sightglass’—the viewing window on their vintage 1961 PROBAT roaster that reveals the delicate process of roasting.

A traditional third-wave roaster, Sightglass works in small batches and spends time at origin building relationships with farms to source complex, vibrant single-origin coffees. That detail-focused, origin-driven philosophy continues to define every roast.
